Given that Myth is something exclusively defined as existing so long as it is presented within a culture, spans culture wide and is culturally relevant, then why is culture defined as a national identity or an entire group of people only? (such as the Greeks or the Romans) I would like to argue that culture is define as a group of people ideas, thoughts, etc, a sort of sameness that we know. Why can culture not be define in a different essence? Personally, I absolutely adore Final Fantasy, and there is a lot of people who love Final Fantasy, since we all share that in common, then why can we not be considered a culture with which myth can form? We often use terms like Pop-culture or sub-culture, why are these not mediums up for the debate to be included in myth formation?
