The Chinese were very unique in their form of creation stories. Their main argument that differentiated them from others was that they did not believe that the explanation of the universe was derived from supernatural causes.
They still had gods and goddesses, but in a human form. The fact that they had this sort of belief system can also really reflect to the present day where they are still very highly influenced on some of the oldest riches known to our time. So it plauses an approach, that even though worships and practices are held in other cultures to this day, the Chinese are one of the greatest surplus of them.
So it wasn’t a discontent of belief, but rather a different form of the creation, and a very serious considered one with the importance of the practice of praise towards it as well.
